August Newsletter
Dear Friends,
As I write this, I am returning home after several weeks walking the sacred lands of Southern France and Avalon.
These pilgrimages reminded me that healing isn't something we achieve—it is something we remember.
Whether sitting beside the sacred springs of Glastonbury, standing atop the Tor at sunset, or resting within the silence of ancient stone circles, I was reminded again and again that transformation doesn't come from striving. It comes from slowing down enough to hear the wisdom already living within us.
My intention for August is to bring that same presence into everything I offer—therapy, movement, sound, and community.
I hope you'll join me.
August Offerings
A New Beginning
Newtown Kundalini Community
Begins Thursday, August 6
One of the greatest gifts of my own healing journey has been practicing in community.
Beginning August 6, I'll be offering a weekly Kundalini Yoga gathering where we come together to move, breathe, meditate, chant, and reconnect with ourselves.
This isn't about perfection or flexibility.
It's about creating a space where your nervous system can soften, your energy can awaken, and you can remember that you don't have to walk this path alone.
Every Thursday
6:00–7:00 PM
Prana Room • Newtown Wellness Collective
Embodying the Light
Somatic Flow & Sound Bath
Friday, August 14
Together with Elaine Gallas, I'll be guiding another evening of gentle somatic movement followed by an immersive crystal bowl sound bath.
If you've been carrying stress, grief, or simply the weight of everyday life, this evening offers an opportunity to slow down, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with your body in a compassionate way.
No experience is necessary.
Just bring yourself.
Following Mary Magdalene's Path
A Sacred Gathering
Sunday, August 23, 2026 | 12:00–2:00 PM
Prana Studio, Newtown Wellness Collective, 2nd floor
Earlier this summer I had the privilege of walking the sacred places associated with Mary Magdalene in Southern France before continuing my pilgrimage into Avalon.
This gathering is an opportunity to share some of the wisdom, practices, and spiritual transmissions I received during that journey.
Together we'll meditate, reflect, experience sacred music and sound, explore the qualities Mary Magdalene represents, and gather in community to remember the wisdom of the Divine Feminine.
Investment: $33, sliding scale available, contact me to register at 347-495-7163
Therapy & Individual Healing
Alongside these community offerings, I continue to provide individual psychotherapy integrating traditional clinical approaches with mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and transpersonal perspectives.
I also continue offering:
• Reiki & Sound Healing
• Past Life Regression
• Integrative healing sessions
If you've been feeling called toward deeper healing, I'd be honored to support your journey.
A Reflection for August
One lesson I carried home from pilgrimage is this:
Sacred places awaken something already within us.
Perhaps the real pilgrimage isn't across countries.
Perhaps it is the journey back to ourselves.
May August offer each of us moments of stillness, beauty, and remembrance.
With gratitude,

Looking Ahead to September
Community Grief Ritual Immersion
Sep 11, 2026, 6:00 PM – Sep 13, 2026, 1:00 PM (Friday: 6-9pm, Saturday: All day, Sunday: 9am-1pm)
Newtown Wellness Collective, 75 Glen Rd Suite 203, Sandy Hook, CT 06488, USA
Some experiences ask more of us than an evening workshop—they invite us into a deeper journey.
This September, I will be joining five extraordinary facilitators for a three-day immersive Community Grief Ritual inspired by the work of Francis Weller, whose teachings remind us that grief is not something to fix, but something to honor, express, and weave back into the fabric of community.
Through guided ritual, movement, music, reflection, creative expression, and compassionate witnessing, we'll create a sacred container where participants can gently meet both personal and collective grief with courage and support.
Whether your grief comes from the loss of a loved one, life transitions, unmet dreams, changes in identity, or the state of our world, this immersive experience offers an opportunity to be witnessed, to reconnect with your own resilience, and to remember that grief and love are deeply intertwined.
If this speaks to your heart, I invite you to join us. For details and to register, go to: https://www.newtownwellnesscollective.com/event-details/grief-ritual-a-remembering-that-grief-was-never-meant-to-be-carried-alone
Suggested Readings for Those Interested in Exploring the Magdalene Tradition
If you would like to deepen your connection to Mary Magdalene before our gathering, I invite you to explore one or more of the following books. These works approach Magdalene from historical, spiritual, mystical, and symbolic perspectives:
Mary Magdalene Revealed — Meggan Watterson
A beautiful and accessible exploration of Mary Magdalene as a spiritual teacher and embodiment of the divine feminine.
The Meaning of Mary Magdalene — Cynthia Bourgeault
A thoughtful and scholarly look at Mary Magdalene's role within the Christian contemplative tradition and her relevance for modern seekers.
The Magdalene Manuscript — Tom Kenyon & Judi Sion
A channeled and experiential account that explores Magdalene teachings related to the sacred feminine, healing, and spiritual transformation.
The Gospel of Mary of Magdala — Karen L. King
An introduction to one of the earliest texts associated with Mary Magdalene, providing historical context and translation.
The Woman with the Alabaster Jar — Margaret Starbird
A provocative exploration of Mary Magdalene's possible role in early Christianity and the symbolism surrounding her story.
Mary Magdalene: Insights from Ancient Magdala — Carolyn Osiek
A historical perspective on the world in which Mary Magdalene lived.
There is absolutely no requirement to read anything before attending. Curiosity and an open heart are more than enough. These books are simply offered as companions for those who feel called to explore the Magdalene mysteries more deeply.
